Decent Insurance, Not Perfect

Petplan's insurance has been decent for my pup. They've covered most of the vet bills without issue, but I sometimes feel like their customer service isn’t as responsive as I’d hope.

Terrible Experience

Avoid Petplan if you can! My dog got sick and when I tried to claim the vet costs they denied it, saying it was a pre-existing condition. No one mentioned that during sign-up. Completely misleading!

Frustrated with Claims

Awful Experience

Really regret choosing Petplan. Claims processing is slow, and customer service doesn’t care at all. My poor puppy is suffering, and I'm out so much money!

Some positives but needs improvement

Coverage is decent, but processing times really let them down. My cat had a minor surgery, and I didn’t see reimbursement for over a month. Customer service was friendly but not super helpful when I called for updates.

Honestly disappointed

Petplan has its perks, but the lengthy claim process is a turn-off. My puppy needed an emergency vet visit, and getting them to approve the claim was frustrating. I’m okay with waiting a bit, but weeks without updates is too much.

A Bit Disappointed

Avoid Petplan at all costs

I had a major issue with my claim for my cat’s surgery. After waiting weeks, they finally denied it without clear reasons. Customer service didn’t seem to care, was very dismissive. My cat needed help and it felt like they just want to keep your money.
