Mixed feelings about the app

The idea behind Metromile is amazing, but the app sometimes freezes on me. I’ve had to call support to get things sorted out a few times. It’s not terrible, but it could definitely be smoother.

Not Impressed

I switched to Metromile mainly for the pay-per-mile option but I was shocked at the hidden fees. The policy wasn’t clear about additional costs. It felt like I was misled about the value I'd be getting.

Surprisingly good experience

I was nervous at first, but Metromile delivered. Their app was straightforward and easy to understand, and customer service was helpful when I had questions about my policy. Overall, not bad!

Not worth it

Very Disappointed

I signed up for Metromile excited about the pay-per-mile concept. Unfortunately, the claims process was a nightmare. I had an accident a month ago, and I’m still waiting for any updates. No one seems to respond, and I feel completely ignored. I expected better service.

Not a Great Experience

Had trouble using the app, it crashed when I needed it most. The support was slow to respond, very disappointing. I guess I expected a smoother experience for the price.

Disappointed with Service

Best insurance ever!

Decent but needs improvements

The idea of pay-per-mile is really good, but my rates went up after a year with no clear explanation. The app is user-friendly but has bugs. I hope they can fix these issues.

Good but not perfect

Overall, I’m happy with Metromile, especially the pay-per-mile aspect. I drive very little, so it suits me well. However, I had a minor issue with billing, but it got resolved. Just a bit slow, that’s all.

Average but needs improvement

Unexpected charges

They said it would be cheaper based on mileage, but I received additional fees I wasn’t aware of. It feels like a bait-and-switch. Not happy about my experience at all.

Reliable and simple

I switched to Metromile a few months ago and so far, it’s been great. The rates are reasonable, and I like being able to track my miles. No complaints here, very happy!
