Mixed feelings about my plan

Honestly, I'm kind of torn about Oscar. Some aspects are great, like the ability to chat with doctors online. But my monthly premium is higher than I expected, and I've had a few billing issues.

Nice features

I like the app and how easy it is to book virtual visits. The coverage for specialists is solid too, but the hold times for customer service can be a pain.

Mostly good coverage but pricey

Oscar Health has decent coverage options, but their monthly premiums can get pretty high. I had a good experience with their telehealth service though, quick and easy consultation.

Slightly better than my last

I switched from another insurer and Oscar is a bit better, but still full of quirks. Some things are great like the online tools but I still feel like they can improve a lot.

Decent but some issues

Oscar Health has nice features like online appointment booking and telemedicine. However, I faced a few issues with getting reimbursed for lab tests. It took longer than I expected, but overall I’m happy.

Great experience overall

I switched to Oscar last year, and it was the best decision. Their customer support is always helpful, and I appreciate the transparency in the plan details. Plus, they have great wellness programs.

Okay, but needs improvement

Oscar has some cool features like the wellness programs, but the coverage is limited. I had to pay out-of-pocket for a few tests. Could be better.

Decent but has its quirks

Oscar has some great options and a neat interface, but I found their customer service a bit lacking. I waited on hold for a while when I had a question about billing. Overall, it's okay, but not perfect.

Mixed feelings about them

Honestly, Oscar has been hit or miss for me. I initially thought their app was a fantastic way to keep track of appointments, but then I found that some of my claims got denied without a clear reason. The wait times for customer service can be really long, which is annoying. Not the worst experience, but I'm considering switching next open enrollment.
