I found the tutors on Varsity Tutors to be really knowledgeable and helpful. I got help in math for my SAT prep. My only complaint is that their rates can be a bit high compared to other services.

I found Varsity Tutors to be pretty underwhelming. I signed up for tutoring for biology but felt like the tutor just read off a textbook. I paid a lot for these sessions so I expected more interaction. I always left feeling like I could have learned just as much on my own.

I think Varsity Tutors has potential, but they missed the mark for us. We tried two different tutors for my son, but neither of them really clicked with him. The scheduling was also a hassle we often faced delays and last-minute changes. It just didn't feel professional at this point.
