Disappointing experience

Good Features Overall
Algolia does a solid job at providing a powerful search solution with great features, particularly analytics. The learning curve was sharp, but once I got the hang of it, it became useful for our setup. There are still a few bugs, though, which I hope they address soon.

Support needs improvement
I had multiple issues while trying to implement Algolia’s search API. The initial response from support took days, and the solutions provided were just not effective. It seemed like they didn't really understand my problem.

Mixed Feelings About Algolia
Algolia has its ups and downs. The search function is fast when it works, but I’ve noticed inconsistencies with error handling. For instance, we had some cases where it didn't recognize certain filters which confused our users. The support team did eventually help but it took too many back-and-forths. I need more reliability before committing fully.

Not worth the hype
After using Algolia for a few months, I feel it's overrated. The performance is not consistent and we're facing issues when processing large datasets. Plus, the documentation could use a major update as some things were unclear.

Unimpressed with Algolia
It’s hard to recommend such an expensive tool with so many restrictions. The results aren’t as customizable as I’d hoped, and getting support is a challenge. Not planning to renew.

Frustrating experience
