Poor Quality Scans
Some books I downloaded were hard to read. The scans are like old photocopies. I expected better quality for such a well-known site.

Best Free Library
Seriously, this is the best free library out there. I downloaded some Jane Austen novels and they were perfect. Highly recommend it!

A Treasure Trove of Books!
Project Gutenberg is an absolute gem! I’ve downloaded tons of classic literature for free. The selection is huge and it’s so easy to use, just love it!

Mixed Feelings
Found some good titles but just a few were in readable formats. I had trouble with EPUB files, ended up with a headache trying to fix them. Honestly thought it would be easier to read my favorites.

My go-to for classics

Good but sometimes limited

Mix of Old and New
I appreciate the availability of public domain works, but some books just need a facelift. My experience is mixed. I’ve found both very good and very poor quality among the offerings. It’s a hit and miss, honestly.

Frustrating Site
I was excited to find free books, but ended up with many bad downloads. A lot of clutter, and my favorite titles aren’t even there. Really hoping they'll fix these issues.

A Great Collection!
Project Gutenberg is quite impressive. I found all the old novels I was looking for. The download options are easy and I love that I can read on my Kindle. Just a bit more polish needed for the interface.
